WHAT IS CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY?
Clinical Psychologists receive extensive training in psychological theories and the application of these theories using evidence-based therapies and interventions. Clients seek therapy for many reasons and as we are all individuals, therapy will look different from one person to the next. A part of a clinical psychologist's job is to work towards the client's goals and aims to help manage their level of distress and improve mental health and well-being.
Intervention is not restricted to 1:1 work and training is provided to organisations and professionals. Please use the services tab above to find out about the full range of services.
